“Media bias: Bao Bao the panda higher priority than human life
Russ Jones (OneNewsNow.com)
January 27, 2014

Despite the fact that tens of thousands of pro-life people attended the March for Life in Washington, DC, last week in freezing temperatures, the birth of a panda received considerably more news coverage by the three major TV networks.

Media Research Center reports that according to the mainstream networks, the estimated 200,000 people protesting the legal killings (Unconstitutional MURDER!—my addition) of 55 million babies was no match for the birth of ‘Bao Bao,’ the newest panda cub at the National Zoo in Washington (Just bad timing among the pro-lifers! Right?—my addition). Dan Gainor, vice president of business and culture for MRC, summarizes his group's findings: ‘The panda—an animal—got six times as much coverage as the March for Life (However, it was about a birth so that should count for something. Right?—my addition). And that’s one animal, not 55 million human beings,’ he exclaims. MRC claims Bao Bao received 4 minutes and 41 seconds of coverage from ABC, CBS, and NBC, while the two networks giving any coverage at all combined to give pro-lifers braving below freezing conditions just 46 seconds—a 6:1 ratio. CBS devoted no time at all to the pro-life gathering (Anyone surprised? Only that pro-life got any coverage at all!—my addition) . Gainor notes that last year March for Life received only 17 seconds of coverage and suggests bad weather may have played a role in increased coverage this year. ‘The only reason the March for Life got this much coverage [this year] is because it was ten degrees when the people were out there marching—and God bless ‘em for doing it because they’re out there [making] a point (That we are a barbaric nation with a barbaric Supreme Court?—my addition),’ he says. ‘And the fact that they were there on a day that [was that] cold probably convinced some people, or at least convinced a couple of network people, that it was newsworthy. That’s hard to do because journalists, by default, are on one side of this issue—and that’s the other side (Which demonstrates how much trust one should place upon what the establishment mainstream media says!—my addition).’

Gainor said MRC is working on a March for Life documentary and is seeking user-submitted videos.”

The following question was on the website. Voting is now closed.

Which type of event would attract the greatest amount of exposure from the mainstream media, regardless of the number of participants.

When I took the poll:

A pro-homosexual parade 74.63% (500)

A pro-abortion rally 11.64% (78)

A PETA demonstration (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) 9.85% (66)

A pro-life march 3.88% (26)

Final poll results:

A pro-homosexual parade 75.22% (780 votes)

A pro-abortion rally 11.86% (123 votes)

A PETA demonstration (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) 9.45% (98 votes)

A pro-life march 3.47% (36 votes)

Total Votes: 1,037

The voters seem to know the mainstream media pretty well. I voted that it would be a pro-homosexual parade.

In spite of the best efforts of the mainstream media, the pro-life movement is finally winning the war. I intend to see it won in my lifetime! The LORD willing! For the sake of the nation and all within, we must!

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.

1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.

2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.

That is why I am working to get the Constitution Party on the ballot in Texas. If we get on the ballot, we will have two Congressional House candidates running and two State candidates running. Getting on the ballot is the first step. Winning elections is the second. Winning elections will grow the Party. The Constitution Party is much more in line with the Tea Party movement than is the Republican Party. And I have been involved with all three!

If elected to Congress, I will not, under any circumstances, vote for present Speaker of the House John Boehner to be Speaker of the House. I call on every Republican primary candidate running in Texas Congressional District 19 to publicly (in writing) make the same pledge. It would not be a bad idea for every Republican candidate running for the House of Representatives to give the same pledge. See my post at http://christiangunslinger3.blogspot.com on December 16, 2013 entitled “Speaker of the House John Boehner Attacks the Tea Party Again for Being Fiscally Responsible!”

If I am elected to the House, I will use the Constitution, as written, to do everything in my power to stop judicial tyranny! Will the other candidates pledge the same? I know our present Representative has NOT done everything possible to stop judicial tyranny! Why is that?

Competition is good for the economy and competition is good for the Republican Party!!! Competition keeps Congressmen committed to we the people!!! Primary Republicans who do not support the Constitution as written.
