“Media bias: Bao Bao the panda higher priority than human life
Russ Jones (OneNewsNow.com)
January 27, 2014

Despite the fact that tens of thousands of pro-life people attended the March for Life in Washington, DC, last week in freezing temperatures, the birth of a panda received considerably more news coverage by the three major TV networks.

Media Research Center reports that according to the mainstream networks, the estimated 200,000 people protesting the legal killings (Unconstitutional MURDER!—my addition) of 55 million babies was no match for the birth of ‘Bao Bao,’ the newest panda cub at the National Zoo in Washington (Just bad timing among the pro-lifers! Right?—my addition). Dan Gainor, vice president of business and culture for MRC, summarizes his group's findings: ‘The panda—an animal—got six times as much coverage as the March for Life (However, it was about a birth so that should count for something. Right?—my addition). And that’s one animal, not 55 million human beings,’ he exclaims. MRC claims Bao Bao received 4 minutes and 41 seconds of coverage from ABC, CBS, and NBC, while the two networks giving any coverage at all combined to give pro-lifers braving below freezing conditions just 46 seconds—a 6:1 ratio. CBS devoted no time at all to the pro-life gathering (Anyone surprised? Only that pro-life got any coverage at all!—my addition) . Gainor notes that last year March for Life received only 17 seconds of coverage and suggests bad weather may have played a role in increased coverage this year. ‘The only reason the March for Life got this much coverage [this year] is because it was ten degrees when the people were out there marching—and God bless ‘em for doing it because they’re out there [making] a point (That we are a barbaric nation with a barbaric Supreme Court?—my addition),’ he says. ‘And the fact that they were there on a day that [was that] cold probably convinced some people, or at least convinced a couple of network people, that it was newsworthy. That’s hard to do because journalists, by default, are on one side of this issue—and that’s the other side (Which demonstrates how much trust one should place upon what the establishment mainstream media says!—my addition).’

Gainor said MRC is working on a March for Life documentary and is seeking user-submitted videos.”

The following question was on the website. Voting is now closed.

Which type of event would attract the greatest amount of exposure from the mainstream media, regardless of the number of participants.

When I took the poll:

A pro-homosexual parade 74.63% (500)

A pro-abortion rally 11.64% (78)

A PETA demonstration (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) 9.85% (66)

A pro-life march 3.88% (26)

Final poll results:

A pro-homosexual parade 75.22% (780 votes)

A pro-abortion rally 11.86% (123 votes)

A PETA demonstration (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) 9.45% (98 votes)

A pro-life march 3.47% (36 votes)

Total Votes: 1,037

The voters seem to know the mainstream media pretty well. I voted that it would be a pro-homosexual parade.

In spite of the best efforts of the mainstream media, the pro-life movement is finally winning the war. I intend to see it won in my lifetime! The LORD willing! For the sake of the nation and all within, we must!

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.

1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.

2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.

That is why I am working to get the Constitution Party on the ballot in Texas. If we get on the ballot, we will have two Congressional House candidates running and two State candidates running. Getting on the ballot is the first step. Winning elections is the second. Winning elections will grow the Party. The Constitution Party is much more in line with the Tea Party movement than is the Republican Party. And I have been involved with all three!

If elected to Congress, I will not, under any circumstances, vote for present Speaker of the House John Boehner to be Speaker of the House. I call on every Republican primary candidate running in Texas Congressional District 19 to publicly (in writing) make the same pledge. It would not be a bad idea for every Republican candidate running for the House of Representatives to give the same pledge. See my post at http://christiangunslinger3.blogspot.com on December 16, 2013 entitled “Speaker of the House John Boehner Attacks the Tea Party Again for Being Fiscally Responsible!”

If I am elected to the House, I will use the Constitution, as written, to do everything in my power to stop judicial tyranny! Will the other candidates pledge the same? I know our present Representative has NOT done everything possible to stop judicial tyranny! Why is that?

From: Illinois Policy Institute www.illinoispolicy.org

The story of Illinois’ steady out-migration problem is well known, but just where are Illinoisans moving to? Is the outflow driven entirely by retirees and beach-goers moving to Florida? Not according to the U.S. Census Bureau, which just released its 2012 American Community Survey of state-to-state migration flow data. These data use census surveys to make estimates of migration flow between the states.

The No. 1 destination for Illinois out-migrants: Indiana (Indiana?—my addition).

The data show that in 2012, Illinois had a net loss of residents to each of its neighboring states, and that Illinois had a greater net loss to Indiana than to any other state in the union.

Indiana doesn’t offer the warm climate of destinations such as Florida and Texas (Or Arizona—my addition). Illinoisans cross the border because of policy failures. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, along with former Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley correctly predicted that raising the corporate tax rate to the fourth-highest in the nation would drive residents and business across the border (I was living in Illinois at the time, the General Assembly not only raised the corporate income tax, it also raised the individual income tax by 67%!—my addition). Workers’ compensation costs in Illinois are also the fourth-highest nationally, while Indiana has the second-lowest rates. Indiana, Wisconsin and Iowa are Right-to-Work states, and ending forced-unionism is becoming a hot issue in Missouri. Illinois’ overall regulatory burden ranks it 42nd-best nationally, and residents pay the ninth-highest tax burden of any state (There is now talk of changing the flat rate income tax to a progressive income tax which means once again raising the tax rate for the MOST productive workers penalizing them for being productive [Generally speaking, higher pay is based upon higher productivity. Not always the case but usually, at least outside of government.]—my addition).

In short, Illinois stands out from its neighbors as the state doing the least to create opportunity for its citizens through common-sense economic reform.

The census data align with the United Van Lines moving data to show that the pace of outflow is high. On net, Illinois lost 69,198 residents to other states, with 33,099 of those net losses flowing to neighboring states. The most significant neighborhood losses were to Indiana (11,529, first overall), Missouri (8,737, third overall) and Wisconsin (7,871, fourth overall).

Neighboring states have made changes to better accommodate business growth and personal opportunities. Massive out-migration from Illinois shows that an increasing number of residents have become exhausted with business as usual in Illinois, and have cast their final vote with their feet (Sometimes the only way to vote and have your vote have any impact! I do not see things improving anytime soon. The Republican Party has, in general, become Democrat lite. I would not vote for any of the Republican candidates for Governor! And last year, Republicans joined Democrats tolegalizesinful homosexual faux marriage.” Recently, I asked a retired friend by e-mail why he doesnt move. The all too common answerfamily in Illinois. I think more would be moving if not for deep family ties in the State!—my addition).

I was born and raised in Illinois. Went to school in Illinois and spent ten years teaching in Illinois. I hoped to attend college in Arizona but that didn’t work out. After an especially brutal winter and dissatisfaction over the direction our school district—I worked and we lived in the district—was moving, we moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1980. I moved back to Illinois in 2004 for family reasons and then moved to Texas in 2013.

While in Illinois the second time, the Democrats dominated State government and do today. Downstate has not been able to break the Chicago area stranglehold which was not the case when I lived there before 1980. Then, it was a competitive two party State.

During my time in Illinois in the 2000’s, the State budgets have never been balanced although required by the Constitution. The State continued to spend more money and raised taxes while going deeper and deeper into debt. It is a microcosm of what is now occurring with the federal government under Barrack Hussein Obama. In 2010, the State lost one Congressional Representative because of population loss compared to other States. In contrast, if I remember correctly, Texas gained five.

Illinois and Texas are excellent examples of the contrast between red and blue States. Illinois, as a Democrat dominated blue State, is losing population to other States, jobs, and money while going deeper and deeper into debt. The Democrat solution is always the same. Spend more money and raise taxes! In contrast, Texas, as a red State, has been gaining population, has no State income tax, a better business climate, has been attacking the MURDER of unborn babies, and defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman!

And the Democrats want to turn Texas blue? The voters of Texas would have to be total fools to vote for Democrats! I pray they are not. I do not plan on moving again. If Texas goes blue, I would in a minute!.

“Rebutting the Lefts Continuous Accusations of Racism
by David Risselada
January 27, 2014

Forward: The information used in this article comes from a position paper I wrote in response to an essay called White Male, White Privilege. The essay is available for review at The Radical Conservative. The position I took concerning racism and social justice prompted my professors to claim I wasnt fit for the field of social work because the whole educational curriculum revolved around the idea of White America oppressing blacks and other minorities, which you know is something I write about quite often (Where was he going to school?—my addition). We simply must be ready at a moments notice to rebut these claims of racism with facts, and we mustnt be afraid to educate others about them as well. Its overwhelmingly obvious that the agenda is to cause racial strife while claiming that blacks and other minorities are systematically oppressed. We all know this isnt true (At least we should. We should also know that throughout our history, it was members of the Democrat Party who were racists! From before the Civil War, during the Civil War, after the Civil War during the civil rights movement led by Martin Luther King Jr.! To today! It is Democrats who encourage and support Black women in the MURDER of their unborn babies! It is Democrats who are keeping Blacks on the new government plantations of welfare and unemployment! And it is Democrats proposing even more unemployment for Blacks as they attempt to raise the minimum wage which means less job opportunity NOT more!—my addition).

Earlier this week, Attorney General Eric Holder once again claimed that the United States of America is a nation of cowards when it comes to the issue of race.http://dailycaller.com/2014/01/24/eric-holder-us-still-a-nation-of-cowards-on-race/ Holder originally made this comment in 2009, and in a recent interview, after being asked if he would take it back, refused to do so (Eric Holder is a corrupt liar who should have been impeached several years ago!—my addition). He continues to maintain the position that minorities are oppressed by the white male, and America’s society and cultural norms (Created by Democrats, Leftists, and the courts!—my addition) have nothing but negative impacts on minorities and women (Nonsense!—. This is just another lame example of how the left projects their failures onto the rest of us and uses race as an excuse for everything. This week we also heard the president accuse America as a whole for not liking him because he is black (He is Black and white! Does he not remember the white side of his family that raised him and sent him to a prestigious private high school in Hawaii?—my addition). This was based on his rapidly diminishing popularity; we also heard him blame Rush Limbaugh for people not liking him. As if we are all like little democratic voters, running around looking for someone to tell us what to think. President Obama and Eric Holder would have you believe that capitalism and our constitution are why we have a divided society when in truth; it is their racial identity politics that leaves this nation more polarized than it has been in decades (True! Saying racism today is meaningless! It follows the story of the boy whocried wolf!” The term has been rendered meaningless by abuse, misuse, and overuse! Just as the most intolerant people in this nation are those who scream tolerance,” the most racist people in this nation are those who screamracism!”—my addition).

This writer has often tried to turn this argument against the left by trying to show the true racist nature of their policies. We live in a day where believing black people are equal with whites is the new racism. Equality today means equal results instead of equal opportunity, and it can be safely argued that this policy of ‘socially engineering’ equality has been destructive on the very people it was supposed to be helping (Without question! The new government plantation system!—my addition). A recent example is Eric Holder coming down on public schools if he feels there is racial disparity in how children are punished. He believes that school systems are punishing black children disproportionately and this should be alleviated. The truth is; failure to hold children accountable for their actions only produces irresponsible adults (And children! Consider theknock outgames which the mainstream media ignored for several years until it got so bad it could not be avoided!—my addition) . Affirmative Action is another example, while there may have been a time when the democrats Jim Crow laws demanded that action such as this be taken; we are well beyond that now as most white people view blacks as being equal. Most people except for guilt ridden liberal democrats anyway. Their belief that black people need affirmative action has created an entitlement mentality where there is no need for people benefiting from it to live to their fullest potential. It is the victimization and entitlement mentality that leaves generations of blacks trapped in so called ‘generational poverty.’ It is the reinforced belief of being owed, propagated by the likes of Obama, Holder and other liberals that leaves blacks ‘disproportionately’ impoverished (And disproportionably in jail for crimes committed almost always upon other Blacks!—my addition).

America is not a racist nation. Most people look back at our history and are appalled at the fact that there was slavery in a nation founded on freedom. This collective guilt was used very effectively by those pushing racial identity politics. In fact, programs like affirmative action are viewed by several black people as being in need of change and no longer needed in a world that has moved past the issue of skin color. In an article published by American Scholar, Ralph Eubanks writes about his grandson being admitted into college because of affirmative action laws. His grandson readily admitted that he did not experience any situation which made him feel as if he needed to depend upon such laws for admission. He didn’t feel as if being ‘black’ was a disadvantage. Perhaps he would be better off staying out of college, because in today’s world of Critical Race Theory, he would be taught otherwise.

Another example of affirmative action in the academic environment is The University of Michigan’s policy of enrolling a ‘critical mass’ of unrepresented minorities. Minorities are admitted into academic programs not based on merit but based on a quota system. How is this fair? Certainly, this policy would leave a person of color who has worked hard to accomplish something in the cold as the quota system would prevent them from even reviewing their records. This policy also dictates that minorities receive twenty extra bonus points. Again, how does this encourage minority students to pursue academic excellence (It also leads to failure for those who are admitted but not able to do the work! It is an invitation for failure! It is like putting a non-athlete on the college basketball team and being told go show them how you will fail!”—my addition)? It reinforces the mentality that they are owed and leaves those that can excel out in the cold. As far as white privilege goes, because of affirmative action a woman named Barbara Gruter was denied admission to the UofM law school even though she had a GPA of 3.8 and scored a 161 on the Law School admissions teat. With facts like these it is hard to say that whites are oppressing minorities. (Wen, 2002) While a Supreme Court decision forced this school to change their policy based on the above incident, many schools across the nation still use a quota based system.

Eric Holder and Barrack Obama, along with the rest of the racial grievance industry would be better off if they would acknowledge the support that white America has showed for such programs. Through the 1970’s and the 1980’s white America has overwhelmingly supported programs that helped people who were historically discriminated against, to the tune of 65%. Ironically, throughout the same period, roughly half of the black population opposed programs that automatically granted them privilege over white Americans. This shows that blacks wanted equality of opportunity as opposed to outcome. (Lynch, Fredrick R, William R & Beer, 1990) It should also be noted that racism played a huge role in the election of first black president, and not in the way you may think. Barrack Obama received a huge amount of support from white America. No doubt this reflected a foolish belief that simply voting for a black man would prove they weren’t racist. Cameron Duodo writes in the New African that there were many blacks who were opposed to Obama because he was half white. In fact he references a black priest who condemned Obama because his mother was Caucasian.

Perhaps Eric Holder and Barrack Obama would do themselves well by realizing we are not programmable automatons as they seem to believe. We are capable of making our own decisions based on our own research. Just because there is a small portion of the population who can readily be relied upon to fall in line with these racial identity politics (There will always be a portion of any society who are racist of one type or another including Blacks who are racists! Something never talked about but well known! Being completely racist free is like being completely crime free. Something impossible in a sinful world!—my addition), doesn’t mean the rest of us are just going to sit here and take it. Mr. Obama, Mr. Holder, we the people of the United States are sick and tired of being called racist, when it is overwhelmingly obvious you use the word as a vehicle to transform the nation.

This was not my planned post for today. I was cleaning out my e-mail when I came across this one from The National Republican Senatorial Committee. I use to donate to them. I long ago told them I had stopped because I did not approve of some of the candidates they were supporting with my money. This was before the current Tea Party movement. My response which will make no difference to them because they care not what conservatives say!

You are sending a message to me from Senator Rob Portman who supports the sin of homosexual behavior contrary to the Republican platform? Do not waste my time. Not a dime until the Party actually supports its platform and stops thinking of conservatives as the enemy.

In fact, I have already given up on you. I am a member of the Constitution Party of Texas. 100% pro-life without exception and 100% traditional GOD-ordained family. The Republican Party will soon be going the way of the Whigs! Sooo sad, tooo bad!”

Gun Control: Large City Police Chief Changes His Mind about Concealed Carry Laws!

From: http://theblacksphere.net/2014/01/fprmer-gun-control-advocate-sees-muzzle-flash/

“Former gun control advocate sees the muzzle flash

Former big city police chief and gun control advocate, James Craig, now knows what gun-toting Conservatives have always known: armed citizens are a deterrent to criminals.

There is a reason you rarely hear of a shooting in a small city or rural areas. Criminals know that they will get their (Slang deleted—my addition) shot off.

Little towns and rural areas tend to contain people with ‘common sense,’ something that is very uncommon in urban indoctrination centers. And common sense says that people don’t like getting shot, especially criminals (Yes! And when the people are concealed carrying they react accordinglycarefully!—my addition).

Criminals tend to gather where they can get prey the easiest (“Gun Free Zoneswhether they be schools, theaters, malls, or individual stores! Advertising you are Gun Freeis advertising you want to be robbed or worse! It is ridiculously naïve!—my addition), which are game trails and water holes. That is exactly what unarmed people in cities represent … prey.

At the press conference Thursday, Craig described his epiphany:

‘Coming from California, where it takes an act of Congress to get a concealed weapon permit, I got to Maine, where they give out lots of [carrying concealed weapon permits, or CCWs], and I had a stack of CCW permits I was denying; that was my orientation,’ he said.’

‘I changed my orientation real quick. Maine is one of the safest places in America. Clearly, suspects knew that good Americans were armed.’

We recently posted the Top 25 most dangerous neighborhoods, and you won’t see East Jesus, Missouri on there.”

Which sign, as a criminal, would give you the most concern?

Competition is good for the economy and competition is good for the Republican Party!!! Competition keeps Congressmen committed to we the people!!! Primary Republicans who do not support the Constitution as written.

“The ObamaCare Carnival of Perverse Incentives
January 24, 2014

With fewer glitches to deter them, millions of Americans are now logging on to the ObamaCare health insurance exchange websites. When they get there, many are discovering some unpleasant surprises, says John C. Goodman, president and CEO of the National Center for Policy Analysis.

· The deductibles are higher than what most people are used to, the networks of doctors and hospitals are skimpier (in some cases much skimpier), and lifesaving drugs are often not on the insurers’ formularies (Increase costs with less benefits! It is the government way! Not the free market way!—my addition).

· Even after the government’s income-based subsidies are taken into account, the premiums are often higher than what people previously paid (Increased bureaucracy plus required coverage that are not needed or wanted, plus paying for others so they do not pay more is a recipe for higher costs! Less choice plus more costs is the way of government!—my addition).

Why is this happening? Because the new law gives insurance buyers and sellers perverse incentives to behave in ways that create these problems. Things will only get more out of whack as more and more unhealthy people enter a system designed to be paid for by premiums from healthy people (Exactly how it is designed! It is the reverse of the insurance model where those who cost less pay less. Now it is those who cost more, pay less and those who cost less pay more! Barack Hussein Obama, how is that fair?—my addition) .

· Under the Affordable Care Act, the benefits insurers must offer are strictly regulated. To keep premiums as low as possible, the insurers are offering very narrow networks, often leaving out the best doctors and the best hospitals.(My use of red. And yet, the premium costs are higher for these same people! Less choice; higher cost!—my addition) In fact, one of the exchange plans in Colorado includes only a single Denver hospital, the one that usually treats Medicaid patients.

· Under the Affordable Care Act, insurers are required to charge the same premium rate to anyone who wants to sign up, regardless of health status; and they are required to accept anyone who applies. This means that to make ends meet they must overcharge the healthy and undercharge the sick. (My use of red. EXACTLY! The healthy pay for the sick and receive less than before! It is a double whammy for the healthy. It is penalizing the healthy for being healthy while rewarding the unhealthy for being unhealthy! It is a perverted system created by a perverted government that then exempts itself! It is like giving citizenship to those who are violating our laws! Sound familiar!—my addition) It also means insurers have strong incentives to attract the healthy (on whom they make a profit) and avoid the sick (on whom they incur losses) by, in effect, making their plans less appealing to the sick.

At some point, politicians of both parties will realize that we can do better than this (Do not count on it! The Democrats are committed to it or a single payer plan and the establishment Republicans are not willing to fight for we the people!—my addition). That will require a real market for health insurance with premiums that reflect real risks (Which was what we had before!—my addition). There is a role for government in helping people with severe health problems. That is why risk pools exist. What we didn’t need was to destroy the market for the many in order to give aid to the few (No, but that IS EXACTLY what the Democrats intended and did do!—my addition).
