“Why Americans Love Their Enslavement

‘I’m a free American, and I have all the licenses and permits to prove it!’

The first time you read this remark, it’s funny. But if you think about it for more than a few seconds, the truth bubbles up. Americans aren’t nearly as free as they think they are (Can not be free unless you are a Christian! Because until then, we were and some, who have not yet become Christians, still are slaves to sin!—my addition).

Some may go so far as to say that most Americans are little more than 21st Century serfs.

Except most Americans are almost totally blind to this patently obvious fact. So they walk around in shackles while proclaiming how much they love living in a ‘free country.’

Why are Americans so blind? Aldous Huxley, the author of Brave New World, seemed to see into the future when he said …

Aldous Huxley foresaw a time when their would be ‘dictatorship without tears.’

Huxleys Dictatorship without Tears

Here’s Huxley’s full quote in case the image is hard to read:

‘There will be in the next generation or so a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude and producing dictatorship without tears so to speak. Producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda, or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. And this seems to be the final revolution.’

So how do we stack up to Huxley’s prediction?

Propaganda? Americans are served large helpings of it every single day. Six major corporations control nearly all the media in the United States (However, they do not control the internet and competition does still exist! Individually, all one has to do is just sayNO!”—my addition). What’s more, three of these media giants own all of the cable news networks.

And what about what Huxley called ‘pharmacological methods?’ Do we have those? Absolutely. We only call them by a different name: prescription drugs (And now marihuana!—my addition).

Get this … The most recent research shows that 70% of Americans are on at least one prescription drug (Sad!—my addition). More than 50% take two or more prescription drugs. And some 20% are on five or more prescription drugs.

Huxley’s vision seems to have come true.

We have propaganda, mind control, and drugs aplenty.

As a result, Americans do rather enjoy their servitude, don’t they?

They happily pay their FICA taxes, income taxes, car registration taxes, license renewal taxes, sales taxes, property taxes, gas taxes, concealed carry fees (the so-called ‘jacket tax’), and hundreds more hidden taxes [Politicians love hidden taxes! Economic theory is that the payer should know when and how much he is paying in taxes. That is a positive for the income tax. There are too many taxes that are hidden. Very few people know how much they pay in sales tax over a year!—my addition).

And now Americans are lining up to comply with Obamacare, which is one of the worst pieces of legislation ever passed in this so-called ‘free’ country (So, is the author going to put himself into subjection to Obamacare? If not, and required to do so, will he pay the penalty? It is easy to write and complain, what is going to be his action?—my addition).

But what choice do Americans really have? They can choose between compliance or heavy-handed penalties doled out by a heavily militarized and aggressive government. And there’s the rub… Americans do not really have a choice (Yes, they do! He just gave one!—my addition).

The freedom Americans enjoyed 200 years ago is a distant memory. Nobody alive today truly knows what it was like (Including him?—my addition). Today we have a very twisted, unrecognizable form of freedom … a sort of ‘dictatorship without tears’ … just as Huxley predicted.

Don’t be scared (Scared of what?—my addition). Be prepared (Prepared for what?—my addition).
-Survival (Surviving what?—my addition) Joe”

Given the topic and his discussion of it, dont you think he should have defined what he meant by freedom and being free? Is he speaking of anarchy?

Romans 6: 18-23 (NIV)

“You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness. When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.

1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.

2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.

That is why I am working to get the Constitution Party on the ballot in Texas. If we get on the ballot, we will have two Congressional House candidates running and two State candidates running. Getting on the ballot is the first step. Winning elections is the second. Winning elections will grow the Party. The Constitution Party is much more in line with the Tea Party movement than is the Republican Party. And I have been involved with all three!

If elected to Congress, I will not, under any circumstances, vote for present Speaker of the House John Boehner to be Speaker of the House. I call on every Republican primary candidate running in Texas Congressional District 19 to publicly (in writing) make the same pledge. It would not be a bad idea for every Republican candidate running for the House of Representatives to give the same pledge. See my post at http://christiangunslinger3.blogspot.com on December 16, 2013 entitled “Speaker of the House John Boehner Attacks the Tea Party Again for Being Fiscally Responsible!”

If I am elected to the House, I will use the Constitution, as written, to do everything in my power to stop judicial tyranny! Will the other candidates pledge the same? I know our present Representative has NOT done everything possible to stop judicial tyranny! Why is that?

Competition is good for the economy and competition is good for the Republican Party!!! Competition keeps Congressmen committed to we the people!!! Primary Republicans who do not support the Constitution as written.
