There was a panel of approximately 12 school board members who sat expressionless for two hours. In attendance were three students, two moms, two cops, nine conservative activists including me, and 5 school principals who looked like they were forced to be there (Probably, when I was on a school board, administrators were expected to be present. A two hour meeting? Kind of short, I was in meetings that started at 7PM and went into the AM. One year during negotiations, we had an overnight meeting. Most of the time we were in executive session. An Assistant Superintendent brought Rambo movies for us to watch. I don’t remember anyone doing so!—my addition). That is who attended the January, 2014 School Board meeting of Williamson County, Tennessee.
Where were the parents? Doesn’t anyone care that Common Core (Tennessee took the federal government bribe without seeing or voting on Common Core [Probably a common occurrence! Money does speak! It is not free, but it is appealing! Plus, States have been trained to be obedient to the federal government!—my addition]) will destroy our country and Pearson textbooks are brainwashing our children with anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-Semitic, pro-Islam, racist, and pro-socialist/communist propaganda (My use of red—my addition)? You will be shocked to know that the required reading list for Common Core includes; The Bluest Eye, by Toni Morrison, which includes pedophilia, rape, and incest, Dreaming in Cuban, which was pulled from an Arizona School District for being sexually explicit, and In The Time of the Butterflies by Julia Alvarez, which includes masturbation, intercourse and leftist ideology (Nothing much that happens in school districts shocks me! Parents need to be always vigilant even in the best districts and most are not!—my addition). A Georgia State Senator testified that exposing a minor to this content is normally grounds for criminal obscenity charges (Well, yes, depending upon the State!—my addition).
This is the beginning of Government-controlled children. (Go to parentalrights.org) Hitler did it. Castro did it in Cuba, thus the Peter Pan Program where some escaped. When Obama mentioned his ‘quality Pre K’ care the government will be providing, in his ‘State of the Union Address’ last night, I got chills. That was after he said, ‘with or without Congress, I will…’ Dictator words (Yes, they are! So, what is Congress going to do about it?—my addition).
At the School Board meeting tonight, a few of my friends from *The Powell League were given their three minutes to speak, timed with a bell, and cardboard warning signs, held up by a bored board member. They spoke succinctly, factually and eloquently. (Go to 14:33 mark on first above video to see their heartfelt, factual speeches.) The reaction on Dr. Looney’s face and the rest of the board members was total blankness. Don’t they care that our kids are being brainwashed into God-hating, communist, globalists? Nope. They don’t care. They had dead eyes.
Julie West even made some accusations against Looney. He didn’t respond (They may not have been able to respond. In Arizona, when I was on the board, response could not be made on discuss that was not on the agenda. Thus, in the open mic session, people could say anything about any thing not on the agenda and board members could not say anything! Nor could administrators in the name of the board. There were a lot of “we will check into it” statements. Which we did while I was on the board. Usually it was nothing!—my addition). If it were me, I would have apologized, or corrected her with my understanding of the truth, for the public record. I would care. After the meeting, he looked angry and scolded/threatened her. He was also uncomfortable when I asked him if he was connected to Pearson Publishing and if he was a socialist. He said, ‘No.’ I asked him why he would have socialist textbooks if he wasn’t a socialist. He didn’t answer me and walked away in a huff. I didn’t even get to the anti-Semitic/pro-Islam parts.

It was comical that after 4 passionate citizens voiced accusations, facts, and serious concerns about the death of our beloved Republic, even quoting one of the current 10th grade textbooks that say our country is a Democracy (See facts here) and has rewritten history (Orwell) and now teaches that the Cold War was ended by the Communist hero Gorbachev tearing down the Berlin Wall, mentioning nothing about Ronald Reagan’s influence and America’s military strength or Ronald Reagan’s famous words, ‘Gorbachev, tear down this wall.’!!! No one on the School Board said a word. Zombies (See above!—my addition).
Instead of a human reaction, Looney read a short paragraph about the great state of his school system, and then, a cartoon-like perky woman skipped up to the podium and did a slide show of Williamson County student photos and what they’ve drawn, played or won this year. It was like, ‘oh, we’re communists now, well, look at the pretty picture six year old Susie drew!’ I would expect at least one of them to jump up and say, ‘Oh no! You’re kidding! The textbooks are biased! That’s terrible! Show me! Where?! How can we fix this?!’ Or, for one of them to jump up and say, ‘Aha! We’ve finally done it! We’re all socialists/commies now! Ha, ha!! Got ya!!’ But no, nothing.
Cardoza-Moore writes, ‘Upon further review of the Pearson textbook, we found even more egregious content that was not only biased, but historically inaccurate, anti-American and in direct opposition to our Western, Judeo/Christian values.’
Guess who wrote these biased Pearson textbooks? ‘Pearson hired Shabbir Mansuri, and Susan Douglass (a convert to Islam) to review and consult on the material being written for textbooks. One problem is that both of these individuals are associated with the Council for Islamic Education, a front for the Muslim Brotherhood in America (Deliberate or just a bad choice? Either way, HARMFUL!!—my addition).’ Story here.
‘Shabbir Mansuri: Founder of www.soundvision.com, a site dedicated to implementing sharia law wherever they go. Soundvision.com’s site currently features two prominent Muslim Brotherhood operatives, Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Council on Islamic American relations (CAIR) interviewed by sound vision’s own show (www.radioislam.com), as well as an article featured on their site by Jamal Badawi, on how to interact with non-Muslims. Mansuri also has stated “I am waging a “bloodless” revolution, promoting world cultures and faiths in America’s classrooms’ (Nice of the schools to help him?—my addition).’
‘Susan Douglas: a Falls Church, Virginia resident who taught social studies at a very controversial Islamic Saudi Academy (ISA), which has been cited for using textbooks that condemn Jews and Christians as infidels and enemies of Islam. She has publicly praised Pakistan’s schools that are known to fuel the Taliban and al-Qaeda as ‘proud symbols of learning’ among other accolades.’
Cathy Hinners, who uncovered this says, ‘Is this the best Williamson County (or any county) can do for its children? What a disgrace.’
During August of 2013, scores of Tennessee volunteers reviewed the 72 on the State textbook list—39% were declared acceptable for Tennessee classrooms, 12% need major revisions to meet acceptable standards, many more need minor fixes.
‘There is a mind-numbing degree of indoctrination (definition: teach a person or group to accept a set of beliefs uncritically) found in the proposed textbooks (“Let me have your children when they are young and I will have them for life!” Not always but a good start! Beware of education that you are not doing!—my addition).’
‘Pearson, the textbook publishers, decided an electronic version of the text should be edited to exclude a controversial quote, and future print editions will exclude the quote, which reads as follows: ‘If a Palestinian suicide bomber kills several dozen Israeli teens in a Jerusalem restaurant,’ the text reads, ‘is that an act of terrorism or wartime retaliation against Israeli government policies and army actions (Ouch! That was put into a textbook? A little bias being presented?—my addition)?’
‘Cardoza-Moore, head of pro-Israel group Proclaiming Justice to the Nations, filed a complaint about the text last April saying it contained anti-Semitic material and multiple factual errors.’ Article here.
‘As a result of our media campaign and the outcry from parents across the state, the Tennessee House Government Operations Sub-Committee and the Senate Education Committee held hearings on the Tennessee Board of Education’s State Textbook Commission’s review and selection process. Their findings were very disturbing.’
‘Commissioner Robinson said, ‘We have been presented some books that contained inaccurate information, vulgar language, inappropriate cartoons, possible social and political agendas, and potential religious bias.’
I saw one K – 8 elementary school textbook that showed different shapes and sizes of naked children’s bodies, and there were sections in the book that explained how to masturbate and included diagrams. I am not kidding.
One textbook says, ‘Hamas is a political organization.’
Do you see the problem here?! Hamas is a terrorist organization. It kills people. Fact.
‘I find it interesting that they are going to at least make the edited online version available to the teachers, but the fact that they’re not removing the textbook is deeply disturbing, because again, it’s going to indoctrinate another year of students. We’re going to lose another year of kids who are going to read that and walk away from the class with a negative or anti-Semitic view of the Jews and an anti-Israel bias,’ she said.
She continues, ‘Unfortunately for Williamson County, Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney and the majority of the Williamson County School Board members didn’t see anything wrong with the anti-Semitic, anti-Western and anti-Judeo/Christian Human Geography textbook they approved by Pearson Publishers.’
‘Thankfully, our state legislators did!’
‘As a result of the evidence presented in the hearings on Capitol Hill, State Senator Mike Bell and Senator Dolores Gresham, along with State House Representative Glen Casada, have introduced Senate Bill SB1602. The legislation will protect our children from publishers with an agenda and school board members who do not share the same values we want our children exposed to.’
We must contact our local school board members and ask them to vote ‘no’ on adopting the social studies, history and geography textbooks that were approved by the Tennessee Textbook Commission. Story here.
After the WCS board meeting tonight, I approached two board members and said something about the textbooks.
They replied, ‘We haven’t looked at that issue yet (My experience, school board members do not get involved in textbook selections!—my addition).’
‘But don’t you purchase the new ones in April?’
Shrug.
‘Don’t you care that the books are propaganda for socialism?’
‘That’s your bias. You have to teach all political systems (Shouldn’t they be taught truthfully? By definition, propaganda is not truth!—my addition).’
‘You have a photo with capitalism as the bad guy, and socialism as the hero. That’s bias. That’s not ‘teaching all political systems.’ 17 pages on Islam and one paragraph on Christianity … that’s brainwashing. That’s bias. You should teach evolution and creation (Actually, should not teach evolution since it is based upon unscientific premises that have never happened and can never happen unless GOD changes the science!—my addition).
Let the student decide. Kant! He believed there is no God!’
‘Do you have a better textbook to recommend (Shouldn’t he be responsible for that! He is on the board! She is not!—my addition)?’
‘I’m sure there is one! Use the one the homeschoolers use. It’s not revisionism. It doesn’t rewrite history. It tells the truth. Ask Kevin Kookegey. He knows.’

*The Powell League is a group of concerned women who named their group after Eliza Powell who approached Ben Franklin in 1787 as he left the Constitutional Convention. She said, ‘What have you given us Mr. Franklin?’ He replied, ‘A Republic, if you can keep it!””
The Constitution does NOT give the federal government any authority over education! The States have the authority! Not the federal government! The States need to take back that authority! And we the people need to take back both the federal government and the States!

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.
1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.
2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.
That is why I am working to get the Constitution Party on the ballot in Texas. If we get on the ballot, we will have two Congressional House candidates running and two State candidates running. Getting on the ballot is the first step. Winning elections is the second. Winning elections will grow the Party. The Constitution Party is much more in line with the Tea Party movement than is the Republican Party. And I have been involved with all three!

If elected to Congress, I will not, under any circumstances, vote for present Speaker of the House John Boehner to be Speaker of the House. I call on every Republican primary candidate running in Texas Congressional District 19 to publicly (in writing) make the same pledge. It would not be a bad idea for every Republican candidate running for the House of Representatives to give the same pledge. If I am elected to the House, I will use the Constitution, as written, to do everything in my power to stop judicial tyranny! Will the other candidates pledge the same? I know our present Representative has NOT done everything possible to stop judicial tyranny! Why is that?

Competition is good for the economy and competition is good for the Republican Party!!! Competition keeps Congressmen committed to we the people!!! Primary Republicans who do not support the Constitution as written.
