“Mia Love Dashes Conservative Hopes First Day In Office

Any hopes of Representative Mia Love (R-Utah) being a conservative star were dashed her first day in office (That did not take long!—my addition).
Many had hoped the first black female Republican elected to Congress would be a conservative leader (The hopes were dashed when she demonstrated that she will be a follower or that she isn’t conservative?—my addition).
Love was recently ranked the 4th most admired conservative following Thomas Sowell, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and Governor Scott Walker (R-Wisconsin).
Just hours after being sworn into office, Love went against 60 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents and voted for John Boehner (R-Ohio) for Speaker of the House (That seems to be a good reason for doubting her!—my addition).
Love has promised to repeal and replace ObamaCare, yet she voted for Boehner who led the House effort to fully fund the health care law through the recent budget deal worked out with President Obama (Fully fund it through September of this year! Not conservative and contrary to what Republicans throughout the United States had pledged to do including Mia Love!—my addition).
Love followed her pro-establishment vote by joining the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC)—a group she previously criticized in 2012 for being a race-baiting organization.
Her decision to join the CBC, however, was not surprising. Despite her critical comments about the group, Love has said she wanted to join it in order to change it.
Good luck with that one Mia (For sure! She is not the first Black Conservative to join. The change will not happen. She is vastly out numbered by radicals in the group. I believe the other conservative Blacks who joined soon left in disgust. I believe that is correct. I did not check to be sure!—my addition).
Judging by her first day in office, it looks like Love will be an ordinary politician and not a conservative rock star (First impressions! They are important! She starts with a whimper instead of a bang!—my addition).
Only four freshmen House Republicans chose to stand up to Speaker of the House John Boehner. The rest capitulated and voted for him as did Mia Love.
