NEWS FLASH:

www.amazon.com now has the exclusive right to sale my first e-book in its Kindle Store.

The title of the e-book is The Black Sword: The Secret U.S. Army in Vietnam

A paperback and hardcover version of the book was available since 2007. I believe it was since 2007. I do not know for sure. It was copyrighted in 2007. That edition had one comment and that comment was very negative receiving a one star rating.

Here is that comment in its entirety and without change from the site:

A poorly self aggrandizing working of ficition. November 8, 2012
By Robert M. Stanford
Format: Hardcover

I should prefix this by saying that I know the author of this book. To start regardless of how this book this being marketed by the author, it is a piece of fiction, the author never served in the military in capacity. Where to start with this review, the book is very poorly written and the author clearly did not do much in the way of historical research on military tactics in general or the Vietnam war in particular. The book reads much like a bad war movie mixed with some kind of cheesy martial arts film, the battle scenes are ridiculously unrealistic. Including laughably bad claims like how the author was trained in hand to hand combat techniques where he would be able to kill some one with one punch in less than one second, he selected for the group because he was genius with Forest Gump like running ability, doing three hours of weight training for 6 straight days a week for months, claims of gun with finger printer readers that only let the owner fire them, act. Save yourself some money and avoid this book”

Robert does indeed know me. However, it goes a little deeper. Robert is my nephewthe first born of my younger sister. She is four years younger than I am. I was working for a living teaching school when she graduated from Illinois State University. She didnt meet her future husband until she was working as a teacher. Therefore, Robert wasnt even born during the time period of most of the book. Robert also never served in the military. Neither did his father or mother.

I do state that I have a tested I.Q. of 130 or above. Both of my children have tested I.Q.s of 130 or above. Does that prove that I do? Of course not. Therefore, before I wrote the book, I went to the public school district that I attended from first grade through high school. I asked for and received a copy of my school records including the results of an I.Q. test. I have written proof that I have a tested I.Q. of 130 or above. If I didnt, I would not have put it in the book. However, I never said, anywhere in the book, that I am a genius.

As far as his statement that the book is very poorly written.” That is, at best, an opinion. Read again what he wrote. How well written are his comments? I was a high school American government/economics teacher for ten years. Having been a teacher, I am use to negative comments from students. Most of those comments were from people who did not do well in my class. I expected the students to earn their grade through work and meeting my standards. If they did not, they suffered the consequences. Most did not like the consequences.

If you read the dedication page, I paid an English teacher to edit the work. We did each of the six chapters the same way. At the time, I lived in Tucson and she lived in Arkansas where she taught high school English. I mailed a chapter to her, she ripped it to shreds. I corrected and rewrote the chapter based upon her suggestions and sent the rewritten chapter back to her. She found more items to criticize and gave more suggested corrections. I corrected a second time and sent them back once again. She approved the chapter and mailed it back. When Robert states that the book is very poorly written,” he criticizes her. I do not believe those criticisms are justified.

Concerning the publication of the book itself, I did not want to go through a regular publishing house because I did not want the book to be edited by the publisher. Since I did not know how to publish a book, I hired a publishing company to do the actual printing of the book and the creation of the front and back book covers. When the company rejected my print copy because the margins were wrong several times including after I went to a Peoria printer to have the margins done correctly by a professional, I wrote the CEO of the company saying I was cancelling the contract because the company was not fulfilling its obligation to print the book. Without my knowledge, the book was printed and offered to the public including on Amazon in paperback and hardcover editions. My guess is that a company lawyer told the CEO that he had better fulfill the contract. I did not know the book was in distribution until I received a royalty check from the company. The copyright date on this published version of the book is 2007.

In the mean time, after borrowing money from my mother, I went to the Peoria printer and paid that company to print my book under my Arizona established publishing company. I had established the company in Arizona before moving back to Illinois in 2004. I never planned to live in Illinoisthe land of Barack Hussein Obamapermanently. Until this book was published, I had not actually published anything through the company. My book through my publishing company was published in 2008.

Here is a strange occurrence. Roberts mothermy younger sisterpurchased four books in 2008. There are four people in her familymother, father, brother, sister. I would have thought that Robert would have first read the book in 2008. He certainly did not have to purchase it from Amazon.

It was family squabble time. In 2004, I moved back to Illinois to care for my mother after my father had died. My two sisters and I had a verbal agreement that I would stay in Illinois until mom dies, caring for her in her home. She would not be put into a nursing home. After a series of minor strokes over a period of about a year, my sisters broke the agreement and put her in a home. Conflict resulted over my staying or leaving the house and the State. Discussion was done by e-mail. I stated in one e-mail that I was going to write more Black Sword booksfive in totaland the next one would include the current dispute.

In early January of 2012, I received an eviction notice. The process continued through the year until a court date was set for November 30, 2012. (I believe that is the correct date. I did not bother to check to make sure.) On October 15, 2012, my oldest sister died after a brief illness. On November 8, 2012, Robert posted his criticism of the book. Coincidence? On November 30, 2012, I was court ordered to leave the house by midnight on December 31, 2012. On December 31, 2012, I moved out of the house.

If Robert meant to hurt sales of the book, I hope he did. I want the other company to stop selling my book. And the company did send me notice that I am being dropped. Good! I had told them not to publish.

If you read this blog regularly, you may know that I actually write five blogs, six days a week. Not on Sunday.

http://christiangunslinger.blogspot.com pro-life

http://christiangunslinger1.blogspot.com politically conservative

http://christiangunslinger3.blogspot.com politically conservative

http://christiangunslinger5.blogspot.com pro-traditional family

http://christiangunslinger7.blogspot.com politically conservative concentrating on the primaries and the upcoming general election

By the very nature of my blogs, I expect the radical Left, pro-abortion/unborn baby MURDERERS, and pro-homosexual behavior advocates to attack my e-book as well as anything else I wrote and publish. Robert may be the first but I do not expect him to be the last.

The e-book costs only $3.00. The only cheaper price is $2.99 and I do not price my books that way. Everyone should know that $2.99 is actually $3.00. What a sad marketing ploy! Spend the $3.00 to determine whether or not Robert is correct. If a member of Amazon prime, the book is a free selection. You just might be pleasantly surprised. I have received very positive comments from readers including people who have actually been in the military unlike Robert and a student at the United States Naval Academy located in Annapolis, Maryland who is the grandson of a friend.

And finally, I would like nothing better than being reconciled with my sister and the rest of my earthly family. The theme of the second book is family. Planned publication date 2015. The theme of the third book is politics with the planned publication date being 2017. The fourth about education in 2019. And the last and final book in the series, on the church of JESUS, the CHRIST in 2021.

“National ‘Science’ Standards Preach Climate Hysteria, Evolution
by Alex Newman
May 19, 2014

With the Obama administration-pushed Common Core nationalization of education sparking an unprecedented backlash among parents and teachers across the political spectrum, now would seem to be an especially bad time to foist even more radical ‘science’ standards on American schools as well (From our point of view! Not from theirs! They want to bombard us from all sides! Overwhelm us with the volume not the quality of the material!my addition). Still, that is exactly what is happening with the ‘Next Generation Science Standards’ currently being rolled out in multiple states. Over a dozen federal agencies reportedly helped produce the deeply controversial program, which critics say represents an attempt to indoctrinate future generations (From this Administration? Dont even have to see the material to know that is true! That is their modus operandi!my addition).

Without strong public resistance, impressionable young children across much of America will soon be taught, among other discredited dogma (Also known as LIES!my addition) that human emissions of carbon dioxide ‘pollution’ are responsible for ‘global warming.’ Also high on the agenda is convincing young children that the atheistic evolution theory—believed by just 15 percent of Americans according to polls—is not only based on ‘science,’ but is the only explanation for life (Been trying to teach this LIE for a long, long time!my addition). What opponents call the ‘brainwashing’ will begin as early as kindergarten—at least if the Obama administration and its establishment allies get their way (Get them early, LIE to them often!my addition).

About a dozen state governments and Washington, D.C., have already approved the controversial new ‘science’ standards so far, with numerous others currently considering them (All tied to federal dollars! The federal government is using our tax dollars to bribe our States to teach federal approved nonsense!my addition). Big Business and Big Labor have also expressed fervent support. ‘Federal agencies are committed to lifting as much of this as we can in partnership with the states,’ Climate Education Interagency Working Group co-chair Frank Niepold with the U.S. Global Change Research Program was quoted as saying during a conference call promoting the radical standards.

Vice President Joe Biden recently praised a Big Business coalition (including Big Oil) for backing the national science scheme, too (Of course! Which tells you the true value of the program! None!my addition). Meanwhile, Obama Education Secretary Arne Duncan has been openly touting his collaboration with UNESCO in producing “green citizens” in America and advancing the ‘sustainability movement’ through ‘education,’ which he considers a ‘weapon’ to ‘change the world (For the worse!my addition).’

The establishment backing for the radical plot, though, is hardly surprising. After all, the nationalized pseudo-science standards for K-12 education were produced by the same shadowy but powerful outfit responsible for Common Core. Known as Achieve, Inc., the non-profit is very well connected. Its current chairman emeritus, Louis Gerstner, Jr., for example, is a Bilderberg summit attendee and a member of the globalist, pro-Common Core Council on Foreign Relations.

Gerstner, who also served as CEO of the infamous IBM, revealed one of the big agendas behind the effort to nationalize standards in a 2008 column for the Wall Street Journal: ‘abolish all local school districts’ and ‘establish a set of national standards for a core curriculum (The Constitution does not give the federal government any authority in the area of education!my addition).’ Since then, establishment proponents of the education nationalization—and even globalization—have retreated from publicly trumpeting their real goals (Of course! The people would reject it if they knew the true goals!my addition). Still, even as the radical agenda becomes more transparent and the uprising against it grows, establishment-minded policymakers and politicians are charging full speed ahead (Now or never time?my addition).

The opposition, though, is gearing up for a fight, too, and has already seen at least a few early apparent victories against the ‘Next Generation’ so-called science plot. In Wyoming, for example, lawmakers acted decisively earlier this year to protect children in the state from indoctrination into the pseudo-scientific propaganda, even prohibiting the spending of any taxpayer funds to implement the scheme. Wyoming science teachers have highlighted other major problems with the standards, too (Fight it State by State every step of the way!my addition).

Activists, meanwhile, reject the whole premise. ‘We question this whole idea of standards reform and the whole idea of nationalized standards (Good!my addition),’ Wyoming Liberty Group policy analyst Amy Edmonds was quoted as saying in media reports. ‘We believe at the heart that it continues to take away parental choice (Of course it does!my addition).’ Separately, more than a few lawmakers lambasted the dubious climate hysteria and other discredited pseudo-science in the standards, too (As they should!my addition).

Last year, the Kentucky legislature voted against the ‘science’ standards as well. Perhaps learning from Obama, extremist Governor Steven Beshear, a Democrat, imposed the national plot on students via ‘executive order’ anyway (The Governor is term limited in 2015. Perhaps why he thinks he can get away with it!my addition). However, the battle in Kentucky is far from finished as critics contemplate new tactics to rein in the out-of-control governor. Just last week, an Oklahoma House of Representatives committee voted 10 to one to reject the scheme, too. South Carolina is also fighting back hard.

In Kansas, the organization Citizens for Objective Public Education filed a lawsuit against the state Board of Education last year seeking to block the indoctrination of students into the theories of Charles Darwin, a virulent racist who claimed in his book that the white race was superior to others (Never hear the Left talking about that do you?my addition). According to the suit, which was joined by parents and students, the national standards ‘seek to cause students to embrace a non-theistic Worldview’ and use ‘a variety of deceptive devices and methods” to lead them into ‘only materialistic/atheistic explanations (The Left are atheists!my addition).’

Among the most troubling elements to many critics is the preaching of climate alarmism as ‘science’—even ‘settled science,’ a notion that many of the most ardent alarmists actually reject as utterly unscientific. The fact that there has been no increase in temperatures for the last 18 years appears to matter little to the architects of the plot; the essential-to-life CO2, exhaled by humans and required for plant life, must be demonized at all costs (The utter scientific irrationality of the Left. Do not bother them with facts! They do not care!my addition).

The standards also make no mention of the fact that man’s emissions of the gas make up a fraction of one percent of all ‘greenhouse gases’ present naturally in the atmosphere. The record cold temperatures plaguing America and the highest level of Antarctic sea ice since records began do not seem to have cooled the alarmists’ fervor to “educate” the children into what many respected analysts refer to as their pseudo-religion either. (It is a religion to them! Read Romans 1!my addition) Numerous top climate scientists have even warned that the radical alarmists are becoming dangerous to humanity.

Most Americans, of course, have rejected the increasingly discredited climate alarmism, polls show. The deliberate manipulation of data by NASA, NOAA and other alarmist bodies which helped produce the science standards certainly has not helped. However, with global-warming theorists looking increasingly ridiculous73 out of 73 United Nations “climate models” forecasting drastic warming, for example, have been proven wrong—alarmist forces seeking “carbon taxes” and a UN-led planetary carbon regime may have better luck convincing young children (Propagandize them when they are young! That has always been the Lefts goal!my addition).

‘This is a very big victory for the other side,’ Executive Director Craig Rucker with the market-oriented environmentalist group Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (C-FACT) was quoted as saying by the Heartland Institute about the standards. ‘If you start inculcating these ideas into the young, they will view this as a statement of faith, and it becomes very difficult to convince them otherwise—which is why the proponents of climate change are doing it (Of course it is!my addition).... The claims they’re making are preposterous.’ He also suggested the climate alarmism would be used to push pro-big government opinions on students (Of course!my addition).

When it comes to pushing the evolution agenda, the views of parents, taxpayers, and countless scientists again seem to be irrelevant. According to a 2012 poll, despite decades of taxpayer-funded pro-evolution dogma preached at government schools, about half of Americans believe the Biblical account of creation as outlined in the Book of Genesis (Because it is true!my addition). The numbers continue to rise. On the other hand, only 15 percent of those surveyed thought man had ‘evolved’ from less advanced life forms without any divine intervention (That many gullible people!my addition). Still, under the national science standards, taxpayers will be forced to fund the preaching of controversial dogma that the overwhelming majority of those citizens reject (Nothing new about that!my addition).

Experts in the field have also sounded the alarm about the new national plot. ‘Americans need to recognize that the Next Generation Science Standards for biology—legislation to force Darwinism on students as fact while blocking them from exploring conflicting evidence—is corrupted science (Of course it is!my addition),’ explained John Feliks, a scholar at the University of Michigan and the founder of the Pleistocene Coalition. ‘For these ‘Standards’ to have made it this far is the result of decades of textbook fraud and a lack of interdisciplinary perspective regarding the fossil record (And continuous lies from the Left!my addition).’

The implications of the developments are massive, he continued. ‘Aside from children losing the K-12 window for developing critical thinking skills American complacency and gullibility are being tested,’ explained Feliks, who spent much of the last two decades demonstrating that human cognition does not evolve. ‘Any grade school subject depending upon tactics such as those discussed is not ready to be taught as science.’

Students of all ages, he added, ought to ‘openly challenge the ideology being forced on them as fact in the captive-audience classroom with full confidence that evidence is there to support them.’

Countless experts have blasted the use of government schools to indoctrinate American children into anti-Christian, pseudo-scientific dogma under the guise of ‘science.’ The related Common Core scheme, imposed on some 44 states using bribes and coercion from the Obama administration, is also packed with controversial propaganda (Of course it is!my addition). Many top experts say it will drastically reduce critical-thinking skills among the youth (That is what the Left wants!my addition).

Even if the national standards were excellent, however, critics say control over public education should remain with local communities (Yes it should!my addition)—not the Obama administration, Big Business, Bill Gates, or shadowy establishment non-profit outfits with dubious agendas (Education is not a federal authorized area!my addition). With the public only recently beginning to realize what has been going on, analysts expect the opposition to the plot to continue surging as awareness spreads (I hope!my addition). Some even say that the unprecedented focus on education resulting from nationalization could lead to fundamental reforms. For the sake of liberty and real education, Americans should ensure that it does.
