Facebook, Gender, Sex: Does Anyone Have Any Common Sense Anymore?

According to Politics1, there are nine Republicans running for the open Senate seat in Georgia including three current Congressmen. I was going to sit this primary out and let the voters of Georgia decide their candidate. I am not going to officially give support to any one candidate. That being said, Congressman Paul Broun is the only candidate that routinely sends me e-mails. His website is http://www.paulbroun.com/ From what I can tell, he is a true conservative. I received an e-mail from his campaign yesterday that linked this great campaign ad! I had to share it!

“Male and Female Is so Yesterday
By the Common Constitutionalist

Have you heard the exciting news? No doubt you have, if you’re a regular on Facebook, which these days is pretty likely given that it has 1.23 billion active monthly users worldwide.

If not, please allow me to share. The AP reported that, ‘Facebook has recently revamped its gender settings to allow for options other than just male or female. The feature is designed to help transgender users of the site and now has 50 options including cisgender, transgender and intersex.’ 50?

Well, that’s terrific, but what the bleep is a cisgender? I looked it up. You won’t believe it. Here you go.

It’s not all good news though, for it’s only available to us 150 million American users. Those who are confused in other countries will have to wait a bit longer in gender limbo.

Naturally the LGBT community is thrilled; as are the people (may I call them people? I wouldn’t want to offend any interdimensionaltransaliens) at the Human Rights Campaign. The HRC president, Chad Griffin said, ‘Over the past few years, a person’s Facebook profile truly has become their online identity, and now Facebook has taken a milestone step to allow countless people to more honestly and accurately represent themselves.’

Yes Chad; no one has ever inaccurately represented themselves on the inter-web.

One of the Facebook software engineers gleefully claimed she changed her status from female to Transwoman. Again, what the bleep is a Transwoman and why would she care that much to change it? Is it really that important?

Now seriously; am I the only one who thinks this whole exercise is absurd?

Once again, like the whole homosexual marriage thing, this effort is being driven by a relative few radicals, hell-bent on disrupting and undermining all historical social norms. In my opinion, they are nothing but anarchists that will keep pushing the envelope of normality until it is shredded.

Then what? After society has accepted all these new idiotic gender bending terms—what then? Will they be satisfied?

The answer of course is … no! They will somehow find a new, more radical cause and call that a ‘Human Right’.

Small wonder kids today are so screwed up. This is what they can look forward to.

Gone will be the days when a job application was a page or two. Between nationality and now gender, an application will be as thick as a phone book. Do they still make those?

ATM screens will have, press one for English, press two for Spanish, 36 for androgynous, 47 for gender fluid. Ridiculous!

Reasonable Americans except heterosexuality, homosexuality and even bisexuality (I must be unreasonable because I do not! I intended to do both articles without commenting within the article. Couldnt do it!—my addition), but this is just stupid.

And for those who are confused—grow up, figure out who or what you are and stick to it.

You are either male or female. Pick one (The person does not do the choosing! The egg and sperm did at conception!—my addition)!

“Facebook Yields to Progressive Insanity, Offers 50+ Choices for Gender Identity

By Greg Campbell
February 14, 2014

Facebook is bending to accommodate a so-called ‘progressive’ agenda and modifying the website’s classification of gender to include male, female and up to 50 ‘custom’ declarations of gender for users of the social networking site.

Brielle Harrison, who worked as a Facebook software engineer on the project, is also a man who identifies as a woman. Harrison stated, ‘There’s going to be a lot of people for whom this is going to mean nothing, but for the few it does impact, it means the world.’

Harrison also stated, ‘All too often transgender people like myself and other gender nonconforming people are given this binary option, do you want to be male or female? What is your gender? And it’s kind of disheartening because none of those let us tell others who we really are,’ he said. ‘This really changes that, and for the first time I get to go to the site and specify to all the people I know what my gender is.’

For millennia, people have been classified as either male or female. Now, with transgendered people becoming more vocal, some companies are working to accommodate the notion that someone need not be either gender, but can ‘identify’ with whatever they choose.

Facebook is hardly the only ‘progressive’ organization to yield to the trend; Bellevue College in Washington now offers seven choices for ‘gender identity’ and seven more choices for sexual orientation. Media organization Reuters now asks employees to pick between nine gender choices.

Though Facebook offers an astounding 50 choices for gender identity, the real question is: is it ‘Tran phobic’ to only offer 50? What if that doesn’t get the job done? Why not 6,412? Or, better yet, should we not offer an unlimited amount of choices by offering a fill-in-the-blank? What if someone identifies as a Grizzly Bear and there is no such choice to select?

Of course, such a statement is ridiculous—and that’s the point. In this age of absurd relativism where nothing is good or bad, where nothing is simply one thing or another, so-called ‘progressives’ have yielded to the never-ending demands of people wishing to deconstruct our very foundations of identity.

Whereas once we, as a society, refused to validate the delusions of others, now we rid ourselves of our own understandings of the world to make room for the endless transformative nonsense that pervades politically-correct culture.

If I dress as a Grizzly Bear and begin behaving as a bear—tipping over trashcans, stealing picnic baskets and whatnot—I sincerely hope someone would sit me down and explain that though I may look, feel and identify as a Grizzly Bear, I am not.

People should feel free to believe what they want and act as they want, but the rest of us should not be compelled to oblige or otherwise validate delusions. In their attempt to over a more-expansive view of gender identity, Facebook has helped to further murk the waters of society.”

The above is one of many reasons why I will have nothing to do with Facebook and other societal nonsense. One is either a male or a female period! It is not a choice! It is a biological fact! It occurs at conception and it will be the fact throughout the life of the person no matter the manipulations and or mutilations that occur!

Genesis 1: 27 (NIV)

So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.”

Note what this verse does not say! It does not say Male, female, and homosexual HE created them!”

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.

1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.

2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.

That is why I am working to get the Constitution Party on the ballot in Texas. If we get on the ballot, we will have two Congressional House candidates running and two State candidates running. Getting on the ballot is the first step. Winning elections is the second. Winning elections will grow the Party. The Constitution Party is much more in line with the Tea Party movement than is the Republican Party. And I have been involved with all three!

If elected to Congress, I will not, under any circumstances, vote for present Speaker of the House John Boehner to be Speaker of the House. I call on every Republican primary candidate running in Texas Congressional District 19 to publicly (in writing) make the same pledge. It would not be a bad idea for every Republican candidate running for the House of Representatives to give the same pledge. See my post at http://christiangunslinger3.blogspot.com on December 16, 2013 entitled “Speaker of the House John Boehner Attacks the Tea Party Again for Being Fiscally Responsible!”

If I am elected to the House, I will use the Constitution, as written, to do everything in my power to stop judicial tyranny! Will the other candidates pledge the same? I know our present Representative has NOT done everything possible to stop judicial tyranny! Why is that?

If elected to Congress, I pledge that I will do everything within my authority as a member of the House of Representatives to begin and complete impeachment proceedings against the President of the United States for violating the Constitution, the laws of the United States as passed by Congress, and his oath of office. I call on every Republican primary candidate running in Texas Congressional District 19 to publicly (in writing) make the same pledge. It would not be a bad idea for every Republican candidate running for the House of Representatives to give the same pledge.

Competition is good for the economy and competition is good for the Republican Party!!! Competition keeps Congressmen committed to we the people!!! Primary Republicans who do not support the Constitution as written.
