According to ABC radio news, President Obama has decided not to take action on amnesty for illegal aliens (“immigration reform” in Left euphemism) until after the 2014 election. Of course, the reason he decided to wait was because some Democrat Senators up for reelection this year are scared silly that they will lose the election if MORE amnesty is implemented before the election. They think the American voter is TOO STUPID to realize there is no difference whether an illegal act is implemented before or after an election. It is still an illegal act that will do great harm to America!

Students across America have been protesting that the cafeteria food is lousy even if it is nutritious under new federal guidelines. Now school boards are joining the revolt.
The National School Boards Association is demanding a stop to what Michelle Obama has done to school lunchrooms (Withdrawal from the programs! They are not required! Oh wait! States sell out for the money! Money is the glue that controls! States like federal money which is our money! The federal government uses our money to control us!—my addition).
The First Lady has been the prime force behind new federal requirements that restrict what can be served in school cafeterias (Regulations or Congressional law? Did Congress give away its authority?—my addition).
Limits on calories and meats, carbs and sweets have caused millions of students to quit buying lunch at school, raised costs for schools while reducing their lunch income, resulted in a huge increase in food that goes into the trash and not into students’ stomachs.
[As a result of the new “Michelle” rules:
1) Students are not buying as many lunches!
2) The cost of the lunches have increased!
3) basic supply and demand formula, schools are receiving less income from the lunch program!
4) Food waste has increased dramatically!
5) “Michelle” lunches are a failure!— my addition]
The new menus may be nutritious but they’re sure not delicious. And they cost more to prepare and serve.
Some school boards are asking for more federal money to compensate. But the better approach is to end these stifling new federal dictates (Duh! Why is the federal government dictating local decisions?—my addition).
The First Lady is fighting to keep all the regulations—and she refuses to campaign for any Democrat who won’t take her side (Do Democrats want her to campaign for them? Are they that desperate?—my addition).

If you think we have it bad with Michelle Obama, who is not a nutritionist, using government to tell you what you what you can and cannot eat, wait until you see who has been put in charge of ‘health’ for Belgium.
When you think of the word ‘health,’ what comes to mind? Is it someone who is physically fit? What about someone who is actively shedding pounds and eating in a healthy manner? If this person was tasked with leading a nation as the ‘Minister of Public Health’ in the fight against obesity, would you trust advice, policies, and ‘regulations’ from someone who is morbidly obese?
Well, meet Maggie De Block, who is responsible for the health of Belgium and their rising obesity problem.
Granted, we don’t know Maggie’s struggles and she reportedly has an excellent reputation in government. But, many are questioning her qualifications to be health minister considering the fact that she weighs more than 20 stone, that is nearly 300 lbs.
The 52-year old De Block has the qualifications for the position on paper. She was a general practitioner for 25 years. But, will her own obvious weight problem cause people to not take her seriously in her position? Will her appointment backfire as more people choose to ignore her for not setting a good example?
Maybe she plans on leading by example and embarking on a weight loss journey to be fit for life. But, nothing of that nature has been announced as a plan.
To her critics, De Block says, ‘I know I’m not a model but you have to see what’s inside, not the packaging.’
Would you listen to a person guiding you on health issues if they weighed nearly 300 lbs?”
No comment on this. I just thought it was interesting. I have always been an active person. And literally, when I was young, I could eat and eat and eat and I would not gain weight! Not quite that easy now. However, I don’t see myself being overweight unless for some reason I can not be active any longer. Oh, picture at the end of the post.
