According to ABC radio news, President Obama has decided not to take action on amnesty for illegal aliens (“immigration reform” in Left euphemism) until after the 2014 election. Of course, the reason he decided to wait was because some Democrat Senators up for reelection this year are scared silly that they will lose the election if MORE amnesty is implemented before the election. They think the American voter is TOO STUPID to realize there is no difference whether an illegal act is implemented before or after an election. It is still an illegal act that will do great harm to America!

We should welcome a debate over how to secure our borders and reform the legal immigration system. That’s not a debate, however, President Obama and his supporters are willing to have (No, it is not! Why? Because they would lose the debate!—my addition).
They are devoted to amnesty and are holding the safety and security of our nation hostage to get it. Although the polling shows that 68% of Americans disapprove of President Obama’s immigration policy they remain committed to an agenda that has created an unprecedented humanitarian crisis at our Southern border.
As the son of a refugee from Cuba, I understand the plight of immigrants in a very personal way. And I’m unwilling to follow the president’s course of spending billions on social services but maintaining the amnesty that will in perpetuity cause thousands more children to be victimized.
I am opposed to the president’s immigration policy because I believe immigrants deserve better.
The direct cause of the border crisis that Texas is now forced to address is the president’s 2012 amnesty: Before the amnesty, in 2011, roughly 6,000 unaccompanied children were apprehended; in 2014—after the amnesty—90,000 children will cross the border, most of them smuggled by vicious criminals.
If you grant amnesty to those who come as children, many more children will come (Of course! It is only logical and the Obama Administration knows it and WANTS it!—my addition). And those children are being victimized, many physically and sexually assaulted by violent drug-cartel coyotes (According to one report I read, girls were being given birth control pills BEFORE they left for the United States to insure they would not become pregnant! Thus, it was EXPECTED that the girls would be sexually abused! The solution: birth control pills! An example of the compassion of the Obama regime!—my addition). It is not compassionate to do as the Democrats have done—they are doing nothing to stop the tens of thousands of little girls and boys being abused (Not a thing!—my addition).
We cannot solve this crisis without prospectively ending the amnesty (There should have NEVER been an amnesty! It was and is illegal! The President DOES NOT have the constitutional authority to make law!—my addition). According to a survey conducted by President Obama’s own U.S. Border Patrol, 95% of adults and children who are apprehended say they came to the U.S. because they believe they will receive a ‘permiso’ that will allow them to remain in the U.S. That has to end (And it should have NEVER started!—my addition).
Earlier this month, the House of Representatives passed two major reform bills to address the crisis. Several elements of that legislation mirror proposals that I had introduced in the Senate. However, Senate Democrats refused even to allow a vote on these reforms, and Majority Leader Harry Reid sent the Senate home for August without having passed anything to address the crisis (Of course! Harry Reid has done nothing except obstruct. His Senate is the true: DO NOTHING SENATE!—my addition).
Immigrants deserve a system where they will be welcomed to the United States safely and with dignity (And where following OUR laws is rewarded and disobeying OUR laws is unacceptable! NO amnesty under any circumstance when our laws are broken including the laws in relation to coming into the country!—my addition).
The solutions are really quite simple:
1) Secure the border,
2) end the amnesty, and
3) implement a system that celebrates legal immigration.
