“New Mexico attorney general appeals assisted suicide lower court decision
by Alex Schadenberg
March 12, 2014

Today we learned that Gary King, the New Mexico Attorney General, appealed the activist lower court decision that undermined protections for New Mexico citizens from assisted suicide by finding a right to assisted suicide in the New Mexico State Constitution (When no previous judge in the history of the New Mexico Constitution found such a right!” It was lost all these years! Were all previous judges just ignorant? Did they not learn to read? Were they biased? How could so many miss this right?”my addition).

On January 13, 2014 Judge Nan Nash, of the Second Judicial District in New Mexico legislated from the bench by allowing New Mexico doctors to prescribe lethal drugs to assist the suicide deaths of their patients in the case Morris v. New Mexico.

The Albuquerque Journal reported that:

‘Nash found that the right exists under the New Mexico Constitution, which prohibits the state from depriving a person of life, liberty or property without due process.’

Morris v. New Mexico, which was heard December 12 - 13, 2013, should have been dismissed (Of course!my addition).

The case claimed that ‘aid in dying’, which is also known as assisted suicide, is not prohibited by the New Mexico assisted suicide law because ‘aid in dying’ is not assisted suicide (Semantics!my addition).

The case then argued, that if ‘aid in dying’ is assisted suicide, then the New Mexico assisted suicide law is unconstitutional because it undermines the right to privacy and autonomy.

‘Aid in dying’ is assisted suicide and assisted suicide does not constitute medical treatment. Therefore prohibiting assisted suicide does not undermine the right to privacy or autonomy.

The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition (EPC) is pleased that Attorney General, Gary King, appealed the activist decision by Judge Nan Nash. We hope that the higher court will overturn this decision (That is all that can be done along with prayer because one cannot count on judges actually using the Constitution to reach their decision! That would be asking too much! Their own personal beliefs are far more reliable than any Constitution!my addition).

EPC thanks all of the people who contacted Gary King, by email, phone and through the online petition.

It seems that all it takes to rewrite Constitutions these days is one activist judge!

From: http://www.uhuh.com/nwo/communism/comgoals.htm

“Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Florida, is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.

At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following ‘Current Communist Goals,’ which she identifies as an excerpt from ‘The Naked Communist,’ by Cleon Skousen:

[From ‘The Naked Communist,’ by Cleon Skousen]

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS
“15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.”

“24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them censorshipand a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as normal, natural, healthy.’

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with ‘social’ religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a ‘religious crutch.’

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of ‘separation of church and state.’

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the ‘common man.’”

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.

1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.

2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.

If elected to Congress, I will not, under any circumstances, vote for present Speaker of the House John Boehner to be Speaker of the House. I call on every Republican primary candidate running in Texas Congressional District 19 to publicly (in writing) make the same pledge. It would not be a bad idea for every Republican candidate running for the House of Representatives to give the same pledge. See my post at http://christiangunslinger3.blogspot.com on December 16, 2013 entitled “Speaker of the House John Boehner Attacks the Tea Party Again for Being Fiscally Responsible!”

If I am elected to the House, I will use the Constitution, as written, to do everything in my power to stop judicial tyranny! Will the other candidates pledge the same? I know our present Representative has NOT done everything possible to stop judicial tyranny! Why is that?

If elected to Congress, I pledge that I will do everything within my authority as a member of the House of Representatives to begin and complete impeachment proceedings against the President of the United States for violating the Constitution, the laws of the United States as passed by Congress, and his oath of office. I call on every Republican primary candidate running in Texas Congressional District 19 to publicly (in writing) make the same pledge. It would not be a bad idea for every Republican candidate running for the House of Representatives to give the same pledge.

Competition is good for the economy and competition is good for the Republican Party!!! Competition keeps Congressmen committed to we the people!!! Primary Republicans who do not support the Constitution as written.
