On Tuesday, January 6th the House of Representatives will elect their next Speaker. Although John Boehner has been nominated by GOP representatives, it’s not final until the full House votes. We have a long-shot opportunity to prevent his election (If we do not try, it will not be done!—my addition).
If there are doubts about the urgent need to de-throne him, consider the following:
* Betrayal – He has consistently betrayed the Conservative base with his deep-seated commitments to the Chamber of Commerce, crony capitalists, and his milquetoast effort to prevent amnesty to millions of uninvited criminals (Exactly what they are! The meaning of illegal is that the law was broken!—my addition).
* He couldn’t have said that – When Mr. Boehner stated before the last election: ‘I am Obama’s best friend’, it became blatantly clear that he is not one of us.

Note #2: Keep in mind that all House members (Rs and Ds) are eligible to vote for the Speaker. A simple majority will decide. If a serious attempt is made to dethrone Boehner, the tell-tale sign will be Democrats voting for Boehner, rather than Pelosi.
If that happens, there will be no doubt about the ‘best friend’ scenario.
