Two years after activists for same-sex marriage obtained the confidential tax return and donor list of a national group opposed to redefining marriage (Illegally obtained the lists!—my addition), the Internal Revenue Service has admitted wrongdoing and agreed to settle the resulting lawsuit (Finally! Why did the IRS fight it for two years?—my addition).

The Daily Signal has learned that, under a consent judgment today, the IRS agreed to pay $50,000 in damages to the National Organization for Marriage as a result of the unlawful release of the confidential information to a gay rights group, the Human Rights Campaign, that is NOM’s chief political rival (Who’s money? Our money! Did we violate the law? NO! The IRS should have its budget frozen for the next fiscal year and then have an additional $100,000 taken from the budget for violating the law, at the minimum!—my addition).

‘Congress made the disclosure of confidential tax return information a serious matter for a reason (It is a crime!—my addition),’ NOM Chairman John D. Eastman told The Daily Signal. ‘We’re delighted that the IRS has now been held accountable for the illegal disclosure of our list of major donors from our tax return.’

The Daily Signal is seeking comment on the settlement from the IRS and Justice Department.

Update: At 5:28 p.m, IRS spokesman Bruce I. Friedland emailed: ‘Privacy law, specifically Section 6103 of the Internal Revenue Code, prohibits us from commenting (Seriously! It did not stop you from leaking the information!—my addition).’

In his order entered this morning, District Court Judge James C. Cacheris granted the settlement of NOM’s suit against the IRS, which was represented by the Department of Justice (Department of [In]Justice!—my addition).

In February 2012, the Human Rights Campaign posted on its web site NOM’s 2008 tax return and the names and contact information of the marriage group’s major donors, including soon-to-be Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney. That information then was published by the Huffington Post and other liberal-leaning news sites.

HRC’s president at the time, Joe Solmonese, was tapped that same month as a national co-chairman of President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign.

Eastman said an investigation in the civil lawsuit determined that someone gave NOM’s tax return and list of major donors to Boston-based gay rights activist Matthew Meisel (Someone? Who? Someone within the IRS? Must be someone with access to IRS information!—my addition). Email correspondence from Meisel revealed that he told a colleague of ‘a conduit’ to obtain the marriage group’s confidential information.

Testifying under oath in a deposition as part of the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Meisel invoked his Fifth Amendment right not to incriminate himself and declined to disclose the identity of his ‘conduit.’

To get at that fact, Eastman said, the National Organization for Marriage has asked Attorney General Eric Holder to grant immunity from prosecution to Meisel.

The $50,000 to be paid by the IRS represents actual damages NOM incurred responding to the illegal disclosure, not punitive damages, since the marriage group was unable to prove disclosure of the confidential records was deliberate after Meisel took the Fifth (Right? It was accidental? Everyone believes that! Are there no laws against receiving confidential IRS information? Want to guess? This is a part of the Obama Administration’s attack on conservative groups using the IRS for political purposes! This is an impeachable offense!—my addition). Meisel provided the marriage group’s tax data to the Human Rights Campaign, documents found as part of the investigation show. HRC is among organizations and activists advocating same-sex marriage that routinely describe NOM as a ‘hate group’ or ‘anti-gay’ for making the case for preserving marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

‘We urge other groups that have suffered similar problems with the IRS to keep pressing until they, too, are fully vindicated (Absolutely! Furthermore, people should be prosecuted! People should be losing their jobs! These ARE criminal activities! It is against the law to use the IRS for political purposes!—my addition),’ Eastman said.

Eastman was referring to ongoing congressional probes and lawsuits over IRS targeting of tea party and other conservative groups that sought tax-exempt status.

In a draft press release on the settlement and admission by the IRS of wrongdoing, Eastman said:

‘It has been a long and arduous process to hold the IRS accountable for their illegal release (Note the word ILLEGAL! Where are the prosecutions?—my addition) of our confidential tax return and donor list, which was ultimately given to our chief political rival by the recipient. In the beginning, the government claimed that the IRS had done nothing wrong and that NOM itself must have released our confidential information (Right! Why would they?—my addition). Thanks to a lot of hard work, we’ve forced the IRS to admit that they in fact were the ones to break the law and wrongfully released this confidential information.’

Eastman, a lawyer and law professor, also is a member of the ActRight Legal Foundation team that brought the lawsuit against the federal government and the IRS on NOM’s behalf in October 2013. He said at the time that the Human Rights Campaign removed ‘redaction layers’ from the electronic documents showing they originated at the IRS.

In May 2012, Eastman and NOM President Brian Brown asked the Department of Justice to investigate and prosecute the case. Eastman appeared last June before the House Committee on Ways and Means to testify about the illegal disclosure o the marriage group’s donors (Has the Department of [In]Justice?—my addition).

Unauthorized disclosure of confidential tax information is a felony offense that can result in five years in prison, but the Department of Justice did not bring criminal charges (Why is that? Protecting their own!—my addition).

‘We urge the Congress to explore this issue with the appropriate government officials,’ Eastman said. ‘It’s imperative that all those who have engaged in corrupt practices and illegal acts in the IRS be identified and held accountable (It is! Criminal acts must be prosecuted! Otherwise, they will continue to do those criminal acts!—my addition).’

While the White House continues to insist the influx of children from Central America has nothing to do with its immigration policies, mounting evidence is proving otherwise (It is obvious that it has everything to do with his policies! He is a LIAR!—my addition).

In addition to a leaked internal memo that pins the administration’s lax enforcement laws as responsible for the recent humanitarian crisis in Texas and Arizona, Jorge Ramos, anchor of the Spanish-language television network Univision, further challenged the Obama narrative that the surge is a direct response to violence and poverty in Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras.

In an interview with a Marlen Mena Bautista, a Honduran mother whose 15-year-old son recently crossed the border illegally, Ramos found that children are instead coming to the United States because of a widespread perception that they won’t be deported (Because that is what they have been told!—my addition).

“RAMOS: Do you have the perception that once children cross the border to the United States, they won’t be deported?

BAUTISTA: That is what is being said in Central America, almost all the time. Almost everyone is saying it (Including governments! Including ours!—my addition).

RAMOS: So what is being said in Central America is that they don’t deport children. So once they enter this country, they stay in this country?

BAUTISTA: Yes. I imagine that is why he decided to come.”

Responsible for promoting the message that the current influx is a result of poverty and violence in Central America is Cecilia Munoz, director of the White House Domestic Policy Council. Munoz joined Ramos for an interview, refuting his claim that in Central America there is an impression that a child who crosses the border to the United States is never going to be deported.

‘That is not so,’ said Munoz. ‘[The children] are in deportation proceedings, and many of them will have to go back (Just reported on ABC radio news, of 26,000 minors last year, about 200 were sent back! Obama Administration = LIARS all!—my addition),’ she added.

Yet, when asked by Ramos how many of the 24,000 Central American children detained last year by the Border Patrol have been deported, Munoz deflected.

‘They are still in the process. It is a lengthy process. So I can’t tell you the number exactly,’ she said. ‘But what I can tell you is that under the current law and the bill passed last year in the Senate and also under DACA [the policy of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival decreed by President Obama], there is not an option for these young people. In every case there is not a possibility of obtaining permanent status (How about citizenship?—my addition).’

Representative Henry Cuellar, a Texas Democrat whose district resides along a large strip of the border, expressed his doubts to Munoz’s claims during the interview.

‘We know, practically, that they are not going to come back,’ Cuellar said. ‘And they are going to be here, part of the United States. That is what we are seeing (Yes it is and that from a Democrat!—my addition).’

Ramos added that if word of U.S. policy spreads further across Central America and the surrounding area, ‘There is going to be an explosion of migrants (Is already!—my addition).’”

This increase in illegal aliens is a direct result of Barack Hussein Obama’s illegal, unconstitutional policies! A direct result!

“7 Articles of Impeachment to Take Obama Down

Barack Obama has committed numerous crimes since assuming the presidency. Many of them have been high crimes, felonies and a number of them of been misdemeanors. In all likelihood, one could make a list of several dozen crimes that would be worthy of his impeachment, but what ones would be best to topple the Traitor-in-Chief?

Andrew C. McCarthy has laid out what he believes are the 7 crimes most worthy of Obama’s impeachment and removal from office (Only 7?—my addition). McCarthy is a former Assistant US Attorney for the Southern District of New York. He is the man who prosecuted Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman and eleven others for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He also contributed to the prosecution of the terrorists who bombed the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.

McCarthy has released a new book, Faithless Execution: Building the Political Case for Obama’s Impeachment, in which he spells out what those seven crimes worthy of impeachment are. In his interview below with WND Radio, McCarthy discusses his articles of impeachment which are:

1) ‘The President’s Willful Refusal to Execute the Laws Faithfully and Usurpation of the Legislative Authority of Congress’

Under this article, McCarthy cited Obama’s changing of federal statutes including Obamacare and immigration laws. He also mentioned that Obama has been enacting policies that Congress did not approve and refused to approve. Obama also failed to execute laws including layoff notifications, the Clean Air Act, nuclear waste and Medicare. To that I would add the Defense of Marriage Act prior to its being overturned by the Supreme Court (My use of red! DOMA was a refusal to defend the law in federal court! In fact, his Administration actually argued against the law! All impeachable and with numerous specific examples!—my addition) .

When asked why McCarthy placed this article of impeachment first, he responded:

‘‘When I was a prosecutor, what you always want to have in the indictment is one count that’s pretty much indefensible. I think even the president’s most ardent admirers would have to admit that he does not execute the laws faithfully, which is one of the most important duties that he has in the Constitution (It is the basis of the executive branch!—my addition.’

‘The president is the only officer in our government who is required by the Constitution to take an oath to faithfully execute the laws and preserve the Constitution. We have a president who is very arbitrary about laws. He enforces some. He doesn’t enforce others. He’s selective. He rewrites them. He presumes to be able to decree federal benefits. A lot of people may like that on the hard left because it’s basically implementing their ideological program. But I think most people, if they’re of good faith, have to admit that he’s not following the law (Duh!—my addition).’’

2) ‘Usurping the Constitutional Authority and Prerogatives of Congress’

This involves Obama’s failure to secure congressional approval before sending military aid to Libya and making recess appointments when the Senate was not in recess.

3) ‘Dereliction of duty as Commander-in-Chief’

This article focuses on Obama’s actions that have crippled our military’s rules of engagement which makes the troops more vulnerable to the enemy and hinders the completion of their missions. In this he included the Bergdahl trade, saying:

‘‘It seems to be quite beside the point when we have a commander in chief who is replenishing the enemy in wartime when the enemy is still on the battlefield conducting offensive, jihadist operations against our guys. That’s about as shocking a dereliction of duty as I can imagine (It is TREASON by definition!—my addition).’’

4) ‘Fraud perpetrated against the American people’

McCarthy listed a number of things under this article which WND summed up as:

‘‘The allegations under that charge focus on the core promises of Obamacare that Americans could keep their health plans and doctors. They also cite Obama for going into Libya under the premise of averting genocide and always intending to depose Muammar Gadhafi, blaming the 2012 Benghazi attacks on a video long after the truth was known, facilitating Iran’s nuclear program while publicly vowing to stop it and propping up the green energy firm Solyndra with taxpayer dollars in a way that deceived investors.’’

5) ‘Obama’s illegal immigration policies’

This article included Obama’s failure to enforce federal immigration laws, the unilateral promise of amnesty to specific groups of illegal aliens and his efforts to fight states that pass their own immigration laws. When asked why he emphasizes immigration, McCarthy responded:

‘‘I think it’s because it’s so blatant. The president has taken the position that he can write the immigration law himself. He’s tried to go the constitutional route. He’s tried to go to Congress. He hasn’t gotten what he’s wanted. What he says in those instances is that, ‘If Congress won’t act, I will.’ Constitutionally, it’s not that Congress won’t act. They’ve said no. His response to that is to become imperious and try to impose his own program and do it in a way that not only disregarding of the Constitution’s separation of powers but also is an insult to the sovereignty of the states (He is a tyrant!—my addition).’’

6) ‘Justice Department’s alleged failure to execute the laws faithfully’

This article focuses on the illegal monitoring of reporters, unequal application of civil rights laws and Operation Fast and Furious. To this I would add the illegal attacking of state voting and immigration laws and the attack launched on Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio who launched an official investigation into Obama’s eligibility. I would also add the DOJ dropping of voter intimidation charges against members of the New Black Panthers during the 2008 election that was caught on video.

7) ‘Undermining the constitutional rights of the American people’

This article focuses on the IRS targeting of conservatives, patriots and Christians, the refusal to classify the 2009 shooting at Fort Hood by Army Major Nidal Hasan as a terrorist act. It also includes Obamas intentional trampling on the First Amendment rights of Christians and other religious groups concerning the contraception mandate. Finally, McCarthy charges Obama with his intentional attack on the Second Amendment rights of Americans to own and bear arms, using the United Nations to push his agenda.

McCarthy explained:

‘‘From the first days of Obama’s presidency in 2009 with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, that’s this cabal of 57 Islamic governments including the Palestinian Authority, they’ve been working on a resolution to curtail American free speech rights in deference to Shariah blasphemy standards. They have essentially struck a human-rights resolution that makes it unlawful to engage in expression that could incite hostility to religion. Of course, there’s only one religion we’re talking about in this context.”

‘Proving that there is an Obama administration mandate that attacks religious liberty, it’s not difficult to prove these things have happened, and I don’t even think it’s hard to prove these are high crimes and misdemeanors. Are they serious enough? Does the public think this is egregious enough to remove the president from power (ABSOLUTELY! Just waiting for the House of Representatives to fulfill its constitutional responsibility to impeach!—my addition)?’’

I’m sure that all of us could add to McCarthy’s list of articles of impeachment, but as a former prosecutor, he makes a good enough case to not only impeach Obama but change him with treason as well. However, as McCarthy said, our current Congress doesn’t seem to have the integrity or fortitude to move ahead with impeachment of Obama (No it does not!—my addition). It may take the actions of people like McCarthy and other to start the process.

If you agree, forward this on to your Representatives and Senators and demand that they act now to impeach Obama and remove him from office before he does any more harm to our nation (He WILL do more harm! Just consider the present Iraq situation! He is about to lose Iraq to terrorists!—my addition)!

The Obama Administration: Is the Obama Administration The Most Incompetent Administration in Our History or Does It Want Terrorists Linked to Al Qaeda to Take over Iraq?

The country of Iraq is being invaded. The country of Iraq is being invaded by terrorists linked to Al Qaeda. Agree or disagree with the policy, the United States freed Iraq from a dictatorship. It took years of battle and loss of life but Iraq was freed. Victory was won. And free elections were held!

Barack Hussein Obama and his Administration made the decision to remove all combat troops from Iraq. That was HIS decision. Now, Iraq is being invaded by terrorists with a link to Al Qaeda. And make no mistake about it, it is an invasion pure and simple! It is not a civil war! It is an invasion.

Barack Hussein Obama sent Secretary of State John Kerry to Iraq. According to ABC radio on its 4PM broadcast on June 23, 2014, the greatest concern expressed by Secretary of State John Kerry, a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, was that the government of Iraq be more inclusive! Seriously? The country is being invaded by Al Qaeda linked terrorists and the United States is concerned about the government being more inclusive! Talk about the emperor fiddling while Rome burns!

More inclusive? If the invasion is successful there will be NO government! I can only draw one of two conclusions:

1) When it comes to foreign affairs, the Obama Administration is the most incompetent Administration in the history of the United States. More incompetent than the Jimmy Carter Administration! Which is saying a whole lot!

2) Or, the Obama Administration wants the terrorists to overrun the country and take control of it!

What other conclusion can be reached?

And to be frank, I think the Obama Administration wants the terrorists to take over the government and the county! Either way, if the country of Iraq falls to the terrorists, the responsibility for the fall is directly on the shoulders of Barack Hussein Obama! Directly! Without a doubt! He can NOT blame George W. Bush or anyone else!

Iraq’s fall, if it occurs, is the direct responsibility of Barack Hussein Obama!

“Oh, Boy: Eric Holder’s DOJ Sets Up ‘Terrorism Committee’ to Investigate ‘Anti-Government’ Extremism

It is not a controversial claim to state that Attorney General Eric Holder has politicized the Department of Justice (It is the political arm of the Obama White House—rewarding friends and punishing perceived “enemies!” Also know as, the Department of [In]Justice!—my addition).

In the past, this politicization has amounted to stonewalling, monitoring journalists, or dropping ideologically inconvenient cases.

But now the Department of Justice is shifting gears into overdrive and is intent on finding the roots of ‘anti-government’ animus (as if it’s a condition of citizenship to support the government no matter what [You mean it is not?—my addition]). Watchdog.org reports:

‘Think the National Security Agency is doing enough snooping in ‘The Homeland?’ A federal spying coalition aims to drill deeper under the Orwellian title, Domestic Terrorism Executive Committee. [...]

‘Call it massive surveillance of the U.S. population (Government spying on its own citizens! Who would believe it of the Obama Administration?—my addition),’ said John Whitehead, president of the civil libertarian Rutherford Institute. [...]

He said the committee—whose members are not yet known—would ‘coordinate closely with U.S. attorneys and other key public safety officials across the country to promote information-sharing and ensure an effective, responsive and organized joint effort.’’

The usual suspects on the left were thrilled.

‘While the Southern Poverty Law Center hailed Holder’s pivot against ‘domestic terrorists’ and the ‘hate groups’ it lists (Everyone to the right of Barack Hussein Obama is a hater according to SPLC! Especially Christians!—my addition), U.S. Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Virginia, said DTEC’s mission to root out ‘anti-government animus’ practically screams abuse (It is a violation of the first Amendment! We have a constitutional right of free speech even and, in fact, particularly against the government! The writers of the Constitution and the First Amendment had just won a war against an oppressive government! Do you think they trusted a strong central government? Not on their lives!—my addition).

‘Would a group advocating strenuously for smaller government and lower taxes be included in the attorney general’s definition of a group with ‘anti-government animus?’’ the House Judiciary Committee chairman asked at a recent congressional hearing (Yes! Is there any doubt?—my addition).’

According to the START consortium at the University of Maryland, here is the actual threat from ‘far right’ extremism in America:


· Between 1990 and 2013, there were 155 ideologically motivated homicide events committed by far-right extremists in the United States. About 13 percent of these were anti-government in nature.


· Including the Oklahoma City Bombing, which killed 168 individuals, far-right extremists killed 368 individuals during ideologically motivated homicide events between 1990 and 2013.

Even if we factor in the Oklahoma City bombing, we are talking about an average of 16 fatalities a year. In a nation of over 300 million people (An obvious threat! How many unborn babies are MURDERED every hour of every day in this nation? Over a million a year! Where is the real threat to this nation? If you think “legal” means moral and right you best remember that everything that occurred in Nazi Germany was legal at the time! Or made legal after the fact!—my addition).


If the odds of dying in a given year for an American is about 20,000,000:1, then you are more likely to be killed by the following things than by ‘right-wing extremists’: walking, choking, falling down stairs, cycling, storms, lightning, and dog bites (and abortion/MURDERS!—my addition).

Even if the Las Vegas shooters were ‘anti-government’ types (they were also members of Occupy Wall Street), we still need to know one basic fact: the number of deadly ‘far-right’ terrorist events is fewer than one a year. (Now, that is dangerous isn’t it. Better set up several committees!—my addition)

According to START’s numbers, the number of far-right “anti-government” terrorist acts is fewer than one every two years.

As far as right-wing ‘terrorism’ goes, it barely registers a blip compared to the frequency of eco-terrorism or the deadliness of Islamist terrorism (No matter! Eric Holder wants to be prepared!—my addition).

Ironically, Eric Holder himself personally participated in an armed takeover of an ROTC office at Columbia University in the 1970s as part of his participation in the black consciousness movement (No! Hard to believe! NOT!—my addition).

I have an idea. It is an idea put forth by others as well:

Lame-duck Texas Representative Steve Stockman (He did not run for reelection for his House seat because he was running for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate. The ignorant establishment media dubbed him a Tea Party candidate. He was not!—my addition) offered up a tongue-in-cheek rebuke of the IRS and its handling of the missing Lois Lerner emails Friday, introducing ‘The Dog Ate My Tax Receipts Act.’

Under the Stockman proposal, taxpayers who do not provide documents requested by the IRS can claim one of the following reasons:

1. The dog ate my tax receipts (The classic excuse for missing homework!—my addition)

2. Convenient, unexplained, miscellaneous computer malfunction (The IRS Scandal, of course!—my addition)

3. Traded documents for five terrorists (The Treasonous Scandal of the Obama Administration!—my addition)

4. Burned for warmth while lost in the Yukon (Global warming myth!—my addition)

5. Left on table in Hillary’s Book Room (Hillary Clinton’s fictional book!—my addition)

6. Received water damage in the trunk of Ted Kennedy’s car (The Chappaquiddick Incident!—my addition)

7. Forgot in gun case sold to Mexican drug lords (“Fast and furious” Gun Running Scandal!—my addition)

8. Forced to recycle by municipal Green Czar (Environmentalist con job!—my addition)

9. Was short on toilet paper while camping (Not sure on this one. Recycling? “Mother Earth” nonsense?—my addition)

10. At this point, what difference does it make (Benghazi Scandal!—my addition)?

Stockman’s bill comes after a tense Ways and Means Committee hearing earlier Friday in which Republicans ripped into IRS Commissioner John Koskinen (And rightly so! The guy talked about his integrity! He has none! He is a LIAR! And the IRS is a criminal enterprise!—my addition), with Representative Paul D. Ryan, R-Wisconsin, telling the former Clinton and Bush administration official, ‘Nobody believes you (Who would?—my addition).’

The full text of the Stockman resolution:

Whereas, the IRS claims that convenient, unexplained, miscellaneous computer malfunction is sufficient justification not to produce specific, critical documentation; and,

Whereas, fairness and Due Process demand that the American taxpayer be granted no less latitude than we afford the bureaucrats employed presently at the IRS;
Now, therefore, be it resolved that it is the sense of the House of Representatives that unless and until the Internal Revenue Service produces all documentation demanded by subpoena or otherwise by the House of Representatives, or produces an excuse that passes the red face test (I like that!—my addition),

All taxpayers shall be given the benefit of the doubt when not producing critical documentation, so long as the taxpayer’s excuse therefore falls into one of the following categories:

1. The dog ate my tax receipts

2. Convenient, unexplained, miscellaneous computer malfunction

3. Traded documents for five terrorists

4. Burned for warmth while lost in the Yukon

5. Left on table in Hillary’s Book Room

6. Received water damage in the trunk of Ted Kennedy’s car

7. Forgot in gun case sold to Mexican drug lords
