Gun Owners React to Gun Restrictions Through Civil Disobedience?

“Tens of thousands of peaceful gun owners commit class D felony.

Tens of thousands of Connecticut of gun owners—perhaps as many as 100,000—have committed class D felonies by failing to register their semi-automatic weapons by December 31st (Good for them! Now let’s see what happens if arrests are made! Or, will the politicians back down?—my addition).
Last April, Connecticut hurriedly passed a draconian new gun law requiring the owners of semi-automatic weapons to submit to registration. Massive lines encircled government buildings as Connecticut gun owners scrambled to comply with the law.
Reporters captured the dystopian spectacle and interviewed registrants. ‘The law, I don’t really think is gonna stop any crime (Duh! Criminals obey laws only if they have to! It won’t stop them from being criminals! If it did, we would not have criminals!—my addition),’ one man told WFSB. ‘How many criminals do you think are in line right now registering their weapons (The law serves two purposes. Give more control over law abiding citizens and it is a feel good law where they can say “We did something!”—my addition)?’
Yet many gun owners did not comply with the law. Officials say that as few as 15% of the semi-automatic weapons in the state have been registered (Better than Obamacare!—my addition).
Senator Tony Guglielmo, the ranking Republican on the state’s public safety committee, has said that some gun owners may have defied the law as an act of ‘civil disobedience (I would hope!—my addition).’
Yet Guglielmo also said that ‘If you pass laws that people have no respect for and they don’t follow them, then you have a real problem.’
Many gun owners may simply have been unaware of the law. The Connecticut Citizens Defense League has said ‘there are people finding out now after the fact.’
Caught up in anti-gun hysteria, the state of Connecticut has effectively created thousands of new felons whose only crime was not paying attention to the media (No, their crime was not registering their guns! Ignorance is no excuse!—my addition).”

“‘It’s an unconstitutional law, done in the middle of the night, say activists.

Upstate New York may be tiring of being under the legislative yoke of the Big Apple. On Sunday, Saratoga Springs gun owners tossed nearly a thousand gun registration forms into barbeque grills in an act of civil disobedience.
‘We are opposed to registration because the evidence is clear that registration leads to confiscation,’ NY2A Grassroots Coalition co-founder Jake Palmateer told poststar.com.
New York’s SAFE (Don’t you just love the “pet” names given to laws by the Left?—my addition) Act, hastily enacted in the wake of the Newton massacre last year, requires the registration of all ‘assault weapons’ by April 15th. The sweeping law introduces a litany of bureaucratic hurdles to gun ownership and outright bans a variety of activities and equipment. It allows police to seize firearms without a warrant if they feel (Feel?—my addition) they have probable cause to do so.
Upstate New Yorkers have been campaigning for years to split their state into two regional governments (So has Arizona! Won’t happen. I don’t think it will anyway!—my addition).”

I think this nation needs a little civil disobedience on the part of its citizens! We have a tyrannical President who disobeys laws with impunity! If he can why can’t we?

“Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Florida, is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.
At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following ‘Current Communist Goals,’ which she identifies as an excerpt from ‘The Naked Communist,’ by Cleon Skousen:
[From ‘The Naked Communist,’ by Cleon Skousen]
CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS
“15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.”
“24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them ‘censorship’ and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as ‘normal, natural, healthy.’
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with ‘social’ religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a ‘religious crutch.’
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of ‘separation of church and state.’
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the ‘common man.’”

This is my two part suggestion to Tea Party groups, social conservatives, Constitutionalists, and anyone else who wants to save our Republic from the approaching destruction.
1) Run as many conservative candidates in as many Republican primaries as possible.
2) Then, run as many independent and/or third party candidates as possible in as many races as possible where we did not win the primary.

Competition is good for the economy and competition is good for the Republican Party!!! Competition keeps Congressmen committed to we the people!!! Primary Republicans who do not support the Constitution as written.
